The 490 series cylindrical crusher is used for crushing various materials and minerals of a soft, semi-solid and solid nature. It uses the principle of grinding by compression : the size of the product is guaranteed by adjusting the gap between the grinding rolls using micrometer screws and a visual measuring scale .
The crushed product is discharged by gravity. The product is crushed by forcibly passing it at the entrance to the machine through a gap between two cylindrical rollers rotating in opposite directions, which can be activated independently of each other; this can occur at various stages, in a cascade to produce increasingly fine particles.
